A massive success! GAM's Monticellomotorclub gala nets $105,000 for kids in need. 18 VIP guests enjoyed more than 7 hours of seat time at the Augusta of race clubs, Monticello Motorclub. Lunchtime entertainment included races by Challenge Car Racing Association. The highlight of the weekend was the live auction of the SavingTeens Cobra and Monticello club membership.
POCONO SUMMIT, PA (May 31, 2011)―Guardian Angel Motorsports driver and Pocono Raceway Executive Nick Igdalsky has formed a unique partnership with Michael’s Way, a non-profit charity organization, for the June 11, Pocono ARCA 200 race at Pocono Raceway. Michael’s Way is a charitable organization that supports families who have children undergoing cancer treatments by helping pay non-medical expenses a family may incur.
Feel the city shake May 19th when Grand-Am racecars hit the streets of Boston to raise money for children’s charities prior to next week's GRAND-Am series race at Lime Rock Park. The parade starts at 3PM. Race cars will be touring the streets of Boston ending at The Back Bay Hotel - The Living Room who will host the cocktail party from 3:30-6:30pm.
Yesterday brought the 'promoters test day' for the Miami Grand Prix and we had a chance to work at the track and setup for our car. It was personally REALLY difficult for me as I found I was overwhelmed with the new track and HAUNTED by the dificulty in commandeering our front wheel drive car. The track is slippery as a whole and the front wheel drive race car and our current development of it, only magnifies the lack of grip. I was glad to see the sun set on the day having felt more like the bug than the windshield for our efforts.
