Learn more about Friends of Bella

Bella Tucker is an 8 year-old girl who lost her arms and legs to an infection called Streptococcus Pneumoniae Sepsis with DIC (disseminated intravascular coagulation).

In one day, she went from enjoying an Easter egg hunt with her family to being med-flighted to Children's Hospital where she fought for her life. After multiple surgeries and nearly five months at Children's Hospital, Bella was transferred to Spaulding Rehab in Boston on August 18th, 2010.

Bella is now an 8-year old quadruple amputee.
