There are so many children’s charities that need support. Here’s a list of those we raise awareness for:

Friends of Bella

Bella Tucker is an 8-year old girl who lost her arms and legs to an infection called Streptococcus Pneumoniae Sepsis with DIC (disseminated intravascular coagulation).

In one day, she went from enjoying an Easter egg hunt with her family to being med-flighted to Children's Hospital where she fought for her life. After multiple surgeries and nearly five months at Children's Hospital, Bella was transferred to Spaulding Rehab in Boston on August 18th, 2010.

She is now an 8-year old quadruple amputee, your donation will go towards her ongoing medical costs and rehabilitation.

Massachusetts Down Syndrome Congress

The Massachusetts Down Syndrome Congress (MDSC) mission is to ensure individuals with Down syndrome in Massachusetts are valued, included, and given the opportunities to pursue fulfilling lives by providing information, networking opportunities, and advocacy for people with Down syndrome and their families, educators, health care professionals, and the community-at-large.

The MDSC, established in 1983, began as a non-profit organization made up of parents, professionals and anyone interested in gaining a better understanding of Down syndrome. Its roots trace back to a group of parents, in a living room in 1983, chatting about their children with Down syndrome and how they could connect and educate families, schools and communities. Twenty-five years later, with over 1,600 members, the MDSC has an energetic Board of Directors, a dynamic management team, and a vision to ensure that every person with Down syndrome has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

SavingTeens in Crisis

Saving Teens leverages the expertise and generosity of dedicated professionals, caring institutions, other charitiesSavingTeens.org and government institutions to guide children and their families towards a brighter future. When a child or teenager is struggling with substance abuse and other emotional issues everyone in the family is affected.

"Racing isn't the only place to find a challenge," says Saving Teens Founder John Reuben, "Everyday life is filled with them too, particularly for teenagers in crisis and their families. It is incredibly gratifying to see Guardian Angel Motorsports step forward to help us meet the challenge we face in fulfilling our mission of saving young lives."   GAM will combine pledge per laps donations from this race with proceeds from their RacetoSpaceRaffle.com for the benefit of SavingTeens.org.

Starlight Foundation of New England

Starlight New England is dedicated to bringing happiness, hope and an improved quality of life to seriously ill children and their families in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont. With your help, we can continue to brighten the lives of children with chronic and life-threatening illnesses and life-altering injuries. When a child is diagnosed with a serious illness, the day-to-day joys of childhood take a back seat to the rigors of treatment and hospitalization. For more than two decades, Starlight New England has dedicated itself to improving the quality of life for children with serious medical conditions by providing entertainment, education and family activities that help them cope with the pain, fear and isolation of prolonged illness. We understand what families go through when a child is sick, and how important it is to find relief from constant worry and isolation. Our programs have been proven to distract children from their pain, help them better understand and manage their illnesses, and connect families with others facing similar challenges so that no one feels alone.
